With over 17 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, Chef Jesse, CEO and Executive Chef of Traveling Man Gourmet Cuisine, brings a wealth of expertise to every dish he creates. A graduate of the esteemed Culinary Institute of Virginia and a United States Navy Veteran, he embodies the dedication and skill required to deliver an exceptional dining experience.


Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, Chef Jesse's passion for cooking was inspired by the delicious gourmet meals prepared by his grandmother and mother. His grandmother's "southern comfort" style of cooking, originating from the Carolina's, infused his childhood with soulful and comforting flavors. Dishes like smothered pork chops, collard greens, and macaroni and cheese left an indelible mark on his tastebuds. Meanwhile, his mother's blend of southern cuisine and modern techniques nurtured his curiosity for diverse ingredients and cooking methods. With their guidance, he began honing his culinary skills in his own kitchen from the age of 13.
